Job summary

Greencross Vets in O'Connor, WA, is seeking a passionate Practice Manager who can blend hands-on veterinary care with people leadership. This hybrid role supports both clinical teams and day-to-day operations, including rostering, stock control and KPI monitoring.

The successful candidate will supervise nurses and reception, drive culture, and collaborate with regional leadership to deliver outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is required.
• Eligible for WA Veterinary Nurse Registration.
• Minimum 3 years veterinary nursing experience.
• Experience as Practice Manager or proven leadership in a clinic.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing and reception teams.
• Create and maintain a positive, engaging, accountable team culture.
• Manage rostering, stock, administration and clinic operations.
• Monitor business performance and support KPI achievement.
• Collaborate with Vet Director and regional leadership.
• Drive local marketing and community engagement initiatives.
• Deliver exceptional service to clients and patients.
• Support workflow management and operational efficiency.
• Anaesthetic monitoring and hospital/treatment nursing.
• Pathology and laboratory work; emergency and critical care support.
