Job summary

Clifton Beach Medical and Surgical in Cairns is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our private billing clinic on the Northern Beaches of Cairns.

You will oversee clinical and administrative teams, drive performance, optimise workflows, ensure accreditation and Medicare compliance, and manage budgets and billing to support a patient-centred, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in practice management or healthcare administration.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Best Practice, Cubiko, Tanda, or similar medical software.
• Understanding of Medicare, private billing, and compliance requirements.
• Proactive mindset with growth, optimisation, and continuous improvement.
