Job summary

Cornerstone Health is seeking an experienced Practice Manager for Our Medical Ashmore on the Gold Coast. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure efficiency, performance and deliver exceptional patient experiences.

You will manage a diverse team of administrative and nursing staff, oversee budgets and workforce planning, and drive high standards of service across the centre. This role offers growth and a collaborative work environment.

Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year from 7am to 10pm, our centres are supported by a diverse team of healthcare professionals, alongside skilled administrative and nursing staff.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and proactive Practice Manager to lead the team at Our Medical Ashmore.

You will play a key leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring efficiency, team performance, and the delivery of an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the busy medical centre, ensuring smooth and efficient performance
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of administrative and nursing staff, including performance and training
• Build strong working relationships with healthcare providers to support the delivery of high-quality care
• Oversee centre budgets, financial performance, and workforce planning
• Drive a high standard of patient experience and customer service across the centre
• Act as a clear communicator and proactive problem solver
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements

About You

• Proven leadership and management experience, with preference given to those with experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong organisational and time management skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse team of staff and healthcare professionals
• Ability to manage a budget and identify key business levers
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and patient care
• Experienced in workforce recruitment, rostering, training & development
