Job summary

Innate Ward Chiro in Browns Plains, Brisbane, seeks an enthusiastic Chiropractic Assistant & Practice Manager for a part-time position. You will oversee clinic operations and patient care for Dr.

Stuart Ward, supporting both clinical and administrative needs with a focus on quality experiences for patients. Shifts run Tue and Fri mornings and evenings (open from 6.30am, patients from 7am to 11am, then 2pm–7.30pm).

• Strong communication and patient-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the clinic daily.

Job description

Innate Ward Chiro is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Chiropractic Assistant & Practice Manager for a part-time position based in Browns Plains, Brisbane. In this singular position you will oversee the clinical and administrative needs of the Chiropractic practice of Dr. Stuart Ward and help support Dr Stuart in getting the best results for people's care.

The clinic currently operates morning and evening shifts on Tuesdays and Fridays, opening at 6.30am with patients seen from 7am, closing at 11am, then reopening from 2pm until 7.30pm. Availability for these hours is essential.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Open and close the clinic each day in line with practice procedures
• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule appointments, maintain the clinic booking system, and keep good patient flow
• Handle front desk duties including phone calls, emails, patient inquiries, medical records, and payments
• Maintain a clean and organised reception area, performing general upkeep tasks as needed
• Provide general administrative support including obtaining referrals, x-rays, and medical history from GPs and other allied health specialists
• Assist with the preparation of medical reports
• Process payment claims such as Medicare, Workcover, and DVA
• Manage sales and inventory tasks including ordering, receiving stock, and related duties

Experience & attributes:

• Chiropractic experience is helpful but not essential, as thorough initial training will be provided
• Fluency with computers and proficiency in using clinic software and CRM systems
• Exceptional communication skills and a genuine, compassionate approach to care - confidence in interacting with people and fostering relationships in the clinic
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong attention to detail and reliable organisation skills
• Comfortable during peak busy times and able to prioritise tasks for a positive patient experience
• Passion for healthy living and contributing to the practice's growth
