This is a varied role whereno two days are quite the same. One day may involve reviewing practice performance and resolving a billing issue; another may involve supporting a surgeon, addressing a staffing matter, improving a workflow or implementing a new process.
Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the practice, ensuring the many moving parts work together effectively.
This includes oversight of:
surgeon clinic preparation and theatre lists
practice workflows and outstanding tasks
surgeon books and weekly operational checks
correspondence and e-tray workflows
new location and health-fund setup
suppliers, stock and practice resources
operational cover during staff leave and unexpected absences.

Xestro processes and configuration
templates and workflows
SharePoint guides and documentation

This requires someone who is confident communicating with specialists, understands the demands of a busy clinical environment and can raise issues constructively while also bringing solutions.
Your role will include ensuring that information flows effectively between surgeons and staff and that issues are resolved rather than simply passed on.
Patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial treatment can be dealing with complex procedures and understandably may have concerns or questions.
You will help ensure that the administrative experience reflects the high standard of clinical care provided by the practice.
This includes oversight of patient queries, complaints and compliments, billing concerns and communication throughout the patient journey.
