1300SMILES Douglas is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our established dental team on the James Cook University campus near Townsville. You will drive daily operations, patient care standards and overall practice performance.

You will coach clinicians and staff, develop the team, manage KPIs and financial performance, and partner with leadership to shape growth and the patient journey from first contact to treatment completion.

Qualifications

• Previous Practice Management experience within a dental or healthcare setting.
• Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
• A solid understanding of dental practice operations, KPIs and financial performance.
• The ability to identify opportunities for improvement and turn them into action.
• Excellent organisational skills and confidence managing competing priorities.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clinicians, patients and support teams.
• Strong computer skills, with experience using dental practice management software considered highly desirable.
• A genuine commitment to creating a positive experience for both patients and the team.
