1300SMILES Douglas is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our team, drive practice performance and create a positive environment for both patients and employees.

Located on the James Cook University campus, our practice serves a diverse community of students, healthcare professionals, families and long-term patients. You'll join an established practice with an experienced clinical team and play an important role in its continued growth and success.

Qualifications

• Previous Practice Management experience within a dental or healthcare setting.
• Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
• Solid understanding of dental practice operations, KPIs and financial performance.
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and turn them into action.
• Excellent organisational skills with confidence managing competing priorities.
• Clear communication and the ability to build strong relationships with clinicians, patients and support teams.
• Strong computer skills, with experience using dental practice management software considered highly desirable.
• A genuine commitment to creating a positive experience for both patients and the team.
