Job summary

Tallangatta Health Service is seeking a dynamic Practice Manager to lead the Medical Centre in Tallangatta, focusing on patient-centered care and strong business performance. You will oversee day-to-day operations, support GPs, nurses, and staff, and drive compliance, financial sustainability, and strategic direction in a regional setting.

This is a full-time, permanent role in a supportive rural community.

Qualifications

• Experience in practice management or healthcare administration.
• Strong understanding of Medicare billing and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards (e.g. RACGP) is desirable.
• Experience in financial management and reporting.
