Job summary

Allsports Physiotherapy Mt Gravatt, part of the Healthia group, is seeking a proactive Practice Manager to lead our clinic's operations, patient experience, and team performance. You will act as information resource and ambassador to patients, referrers, and staff while driving service excellence.

Ideal candidates will have prior management experience in healthcare, plus familiarity with practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing our Mt Gravatt clinic team.
• Providing outstanding customer service to ensure every client has a positive and meaningful experience after every visit.
• Collaborating and communicating effectively with the administration and clinical teams to ensure exceptional client health outcomes are achieved.
• Diary management including rostering administration staff and scheduling patient bookings.
• Monitoring, managing and following up on all outstanding and overdue accounts with appropriate parties.
• Ensuring existing administration procedures are conducted efficiently, following up all errors and reviewing if improvements can be made.
• Delivering marketing and business development activities as needed with a focus on building strong relationships with both clients and local businesses.
• Ensuring the practice (waiting room, consult rooms, gym, staff room, etc) is clean, tidy and safe at all times.

The Role

The Practice Manager will be responsible for our clinic's overall operations, development and success. In this critical role, the successful candidate will act as an information resource and ambassador to patients, referrers, the general public, therapists and administration staff.

The successful candidate will be friendly, have excellent communication skills, be able to lead a close-knit team and be a great team player. This individual will also be a passionate leader who has the following:

Previous experience in a management role or in a healthcare/allied health setting is essential.

Familiarity with the Nookal Practice Management Software highly regarded but not essential.

Is confident, motivated, calm under pressure and driven to continuously improve and learn.

Thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle conflicting priorities.
