Job summary

Myhealth Rosehill clinic is seeking a Practice Manager to drive operational excellence and foster a supportive, team-driven environment. The role offers opportunities for career growth in a forward-thinking practice committed to ongoing training and development.

You will lead day-to-day operations, coordinate with lead doctors, and manage the diary system while maintaining high standards of patient care and staff engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in GP medical reception or practice management.
• Leadership and senior administrative responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience managing nursing and administration staff preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred.
• Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude with focus on patient experiences and operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead doctors to ensure smooth operational workflows.
• Oversee day-to-day practice operations with emphasis on quality care.
• Facilitate inductions and in-house training for new staff.
• Manage diary scheduling with Clinical Team, including waitlist management and patient appointments.
• Provide solution-focused management for clinic operations and doctor queries.
• Lead a hands-on team approach to problem-solving and patient care.

About The Role

As a Practice Manager at our Rosehill clinic, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence while creating a supportive, team-driven environment. You'll have the chance to grow your career in a dynamic, forward-thinking practice that places strong emphasis on personal development and ongoing training.

A Day In The Life

• Collaborating with lead doctors to ensure smooth operational workflows
• Overseeing the day-to-day practice operations with a focus on quality care
• Facilitating inductions and in-house training sessions for new staff
• Managing the diary scheduling system with the Clinical Team, including waitlist management and patient appointment coordination
• Providing solution-focused management to clinic operations and doctor queries
• Leading a team with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and patient care

What We're Looking For

• Experience in GP medical reception or practice management
• Confident in taking on leadership and senior administrative roles
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in managing nursing and administration staff is preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
• Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
• A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for enhancing patient experiences and practice operations
