Job summary

Allsports Physiotherapy Forest Lake, part of the Healthia Group, is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join our Forest Lake clinic on a full-time basis with potential for part-time arrangements. You will design and deliver personalised exercise programs, build a loyal client base, and collaborate with local GPs and specialists to improve long-term health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Exercise Physiology with full ESSA registration.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check required or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement exercise programs for clients.
• Build a loyal client caseload and contribute to marketing with community education.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a committed and passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our team on a full-time basis to support our thriving Forest Lake clinic. For the right candidate, we are open to offering a part-time working arrangement to ensure this position also works for you.

In this role you will focus on making a difference to your clients' lives, not just getting them out of acute pain. You will learn communication and health change skills to connect with your clients and will improve their lives with the skills you possess.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Manage and build on our large existing client base by developing a loyal caseload
• Construct and implement exercise programs
• Provide a holistic approach to client care via the identification of underlying causes of injury with a focus on optimal lifelong physical health
• Develop excellent rapport with your client and participate in marketing by educating our community
• Liaise with local GP's, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, personal trainers and sport teams as required
• Demonstrate a commitment to improving your knowledge and clinical skills by participating in our regular Professional Development sessions

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, driven in their pursuit of ongoing learning and professional development, and consistently strives to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes. The candidate may be a recent graduate, early career or a seasoned professional with extensive clinical experience.

Along with a passion for helping others, the successful candidate will have/be:

• A tertiary degree in Exercise Physiology with full ESSA registration.
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).
• Skilled in clinical reasoning and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Committed to delivering high-quality, client-centered care.
• Eager to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.
