Job summary

Bupa Bowral Medical Centre is seeking an capable administrator to support the Practice Manager, helping lead a close-knit team and keeping daily operations running smoothly. This part-time fixed-term role runs four days a week (including Tuesdays and Wednesdays) until January 2028, with opportunities to contribute in recruitment, rostering, team performance reviews, and financial oversight.

Qualifications

2+ year’s experience in management or GP clinic experience.
Best Practice software is a plus but not essential.
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Tech-savvy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
Proactive problem solver who can work independently.
Able to multitask and maintain accuracy in a busy clinical environment.
Capable of managing the practice in the Practice Manager's absence.

Responsibilities

Work 4 days per week in Bowral clinic until January 2028.
Support change management within the practice.
Assist Practice Manager with recruitment, rostering, and performance reviews.
Coach the team to achieve KPI targets and practice goals.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance patient experience.
Facilitate regular meetings and ensure effective communication.
Act as Acting Practice Manager in absence, owning rostering and financial oversight.
