Job summary

Lutheran Services Australia is seeking a Practice Lead in Community Services to strengthen practice across our network and embed the Model of Care. You will collaborate with leaders to ensure consistent, evidence-informed service delivery and build staff capability for positive client outcomes.

You will oversee development of practice frameworks, provide specialist guidance on complex issues, and drive continuous improvement across multiple sites, with some travel as required.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in community services, human services, social work, psychology or related field.
• Strong professional practice experience within community, disability, or human services.
• Understanding of contemporary, evidence-informed and client-centred practice.
• Confident in building relationships, influencing others and providing practical advice.
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and translate them into practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of evidence-informed practice frameworks, procedures and standards.
• Support the implementation of Lutheran Services’ Model of Care across Community Services.
• Partner with service leaders to strengthen practice quality, consistency and client outcomes.
• Provide specialist advice on complex practice, safeguarding and regulatory matters.
• Build capability through coaching, education and reflective practice.
• Identify and lead opportunities for practice and service improvement.
