UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families – Brisbane QLD is seeking a Practice Lead to support Clinical Care Governance and Risk in residential aged care services. The role focuses on embedding quality frameworks to improve consumer experience and continuous improvement, with a collaborative approach to policies, procedures and tools.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Nursing/Allied Health.
• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration and work entitlements.
• Broad management or clinical experience in service delivery and quality systems in aged, community care or health sectors.
• Knowledge of legislative, regulatory and funding requirements in the aged care environment.
• Experience with continuous quality improvement and innovative thinking.
• Understanding of resident/person-centred care and service delivery in residential settings.
• Willingness to travel to locations in Queensland.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Embed the Blue Care Quality framework to improve Consumer Experience and Continuous Improvement in residential services.
• Review and develop Policies, Procedures and tools to support quality safe care.
• Share learnings and drive innovations across the organisation.
