Job summary

CSIRO is seeking a Power Platform Senior Engineer to lead the administration and delivery of Microsoft's Power Platform across our organisation. You will configure day-to-day operations, shape governance, and guide future roadmaps while balancing hands-on engineering with leadership in service delivery.

You will establish secure environments, manage DLP policies, licensing, and life-cycle management, and coach a team of engineers to drive innovation within the platform ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and governing Power Platform environments and governance frameworks.
• Strong security posture, including access controls and DLP policy implementation.
• Technical advisory for platform projects with stakeholder collaboration.
• Leadership and mentoring of platform engineers; driving best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of Power Platform environments and governance.
• Develop and enforce governance policies for secure, compliant platform usage.
• Oversee security measures including access control and DLP to protect data.
• Monitor performance and address platform-wide challenges for a seamless user experience.
• Serve as technical consultant for platform projects and solution design.
• Provide mentorship to Power Platform engineers and foster continuous learning.
• Oversee user accounts, permissions, and licensing strategies to optimise resources.
