Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Parts & Services BI team in Milton, Brisbane. You will deliver trusted reporting and analytics, turning data into actionable insights and supporting the 2030 strategy.

You’ll work with Power BI and Databricks, translating business needs into scalable solutions and partnering with leaders to improve outcomes. Flexible working arrangements offered.

Qualifications

• Advanced Power BI skills including data modelling, semantic models and dashboard development.
• Experience translating business requirements into reporting, dashboards and analytical solutions.
• Experience with Databricks or modern data platforms.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver reporting, dashboards and analytics solutions that support business performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into practical data-driven solutions.
• Build, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, semantic models and reporting tools.
• Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Provide timely and accurate analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and support the successful adoption of reporting solutions.
• Monitor, maintain and continuously improve existing reporting and analytics products.
• Support data governance, reporting standards and KPI frameworks across the business.
• Document data models, business definitions and reporting processes to ensure consistency and continuity.
• Work with data owners and technical teams to source, validate and prepare data for analysis and reporting.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Parts & Services data and analytics environment.
• Champion safe work practices and maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
