Job summary

ORS is hiring a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join Australia’s largest PBS team. You will work with NDIS participants and private clients, supporting goals and quality of life across the lifespan.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the client’s support system, observing behaviours of concern, creating and implementing behaviour support plans, and monitoring progress. ORS offers learning, development, and flexible work options within suburban offices and hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• Foundational skills in Mental Health or Disability.
• Tertiary Qualifications in an allied health, human science or education field such as psychology, behaviour analysis, social work, teaching/early childhood care, social sciences, criminology, counselling, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or nursing.
• Driver's license and own vehicle.
• Ability to obtain required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check)

Responsibilities

• Work with the client's whole system of supports.
• Contribute to clients' goals and quality of life.
• Observe and assess clients' behaviours of concern.
• Create behaviour support plans and implementation plans.
• Implement plans and monitor and review progress.
