Job summary

Godfrey Group Recruitment in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Portfolio Administration Manager to lead a small team, act as the central contact between Advisers and external stakeholders, and ensure accurate execution of investment strategies from start to finish.

The successful candidate will drive operations and technology across the business, work closely with back-office teams, and demonstrate a meticulous attention to detail in a boutique wealth management setting.

Qualifications

• Fund Administration or Portfolio Administration experience – at least 4 years.
• Experience managing people in the past.
• Experience in client-focused roles in fund admin, custodian, wealth manager or responsible entity.
• Experience with Xplan, SharePoint and Power Automate is advantageous.
• Superb verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledgeable on financial markets, structures, entities and products.
• Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy is paramount.
• Hold a Bachelor of Commerce, Business or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team – allocate work, monitor workflow and maintain service standards
• Manage relationships with clients, accountants, solicitors, brokers, custodians, registries and other service providers
• Reconcile client portfolios and support all aspects of wealth management including investments, superannuation, trusts and portfolio administration
• Oversee investment implementation, managed fund transactions, reconciliations, reporting and record management
• Facilitate cash payment functions, including margin lending accounts
• Assist on specific projects to address internal and client-related requests as required
• Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, risk management, compliance and AML/KYC
