Job summary

Godfrey Group Recruitment is seeking an ambitious Associate Adviser for a growing Private Wealth boutique in Sydney. You will support senior advisers, attend client meetings, and help deliver tailored financial planning and investment strategies.

You should be degree qualified, FASEA compliant, and have 3+ years of experience in financial planning, with knowledge across investments, wealth creation and protection. The role offers exposure to UHNW clients within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified; FASEA compliant.
• Ready to begin, or recently completed Professional Year.
• 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning, typically within a paraplanning, client services, or similar capacity.
• Strong depth and knowledge in investments, wealth creation, and wealth protection strategies.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to identify opportunities within existing and new clients.
• Confident communicator; able to hold composure with UHNW clients.

Responsibilities

• Support senior advisers in proactively managing client affairs, including annual progress meetings, compliance, and portfolio reviews.
• Get to know clients, be in meetings and immediately add value to advice process.
• Prepare strategic advice documentation, financial modelling, and investment recommendations.
• Collaborate with advisers and external service providers to ensure seamless client outcomes.
• Conduct analysis across cashflow, debt, gearing, superannuation, and investment structures.
• Take on some existing clients in time and build out your own book of business with support and guidance.
