Job summary

Accor Chadstone Melbourne MGallery seeks a friendly Porter/Concierge to welcome guests, assist with arrivals/departures, and manage luggage and valet parking. You will anticipate needs, respond promptly and create memorable experiences in one of Melbourne’s iconic luxury hotels.

Bring a Victorian driver’s license, a proactive attitude and superb communication skills. The role covers a 7-day roster, including evenings and weekends, with benefits and industry training.

Qualifications

• Victorian full driver’s license is essential.
• Energetic, team-focused and can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work across a 7 day roster, including evenings, mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with arrival and departure experiences, luggage and valet parking.
• Provide exceptional service and anticipate guest needs.
• Share knowledge of Melbourne with visitors.
• Be the welcoming face of the hotel and build guest rapport.
• Handle general enquiries and luggage requests as required.

What you'll be doing

As a Porter / Concierge, no two days are the same. You will assist our guests with all aspects of their arrival and departure experience, and everything in between-luggage assistance, valet parking and responding to guest requests - whilst at the same time, creating stories that stay.

Be the first point of contact and greet guests with a warm welcome every time

Provide exceptional service to our guests in every interaction by anticipating their needs, responding to requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously

Share your knowledge and passion for Melbourne with visitors to our city

Be the "face" of our hotel

Welcome our guests and make them feel special

Assist guests with general enquiries and luggage requests

Valet parking of cars

General Porter duties as required

Hourly Pay rates

Mon to Fri: $27.08(+ $2.95evening loading after 7pm)

Saturday: $33.85

Sunday: $40.62

Public Holidays: $60.93
