Job summary

The Department of Customer Service, NSW, seeks an Assistant Scheme Design Adviser to join the Scheme Design directorate. This ongoing clerk grade 5/6 role works on policy and regulatory design enabling NSW statutory insurance outcomes.

Role based in Sydney CBD or Gosford when in the office. Responsibilities include researching scheme design issues, developing policy options, and preparing briefings and project documents, with a collaborative team focus and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Research, analyse and review emerging scheme design and regulatory issues.
• Help develop evidence-based policy options and advice.
• Prepare clear written material, including briefings, correspondence and project documents.
• Engage with stakeholders and contribute to collaborative policy work.
• Support the coordination and administration of scheme design projects.
• Contribute to priorities across the broader Scheme Design directorate.
