Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Public Policy Manager in Australia and New Zealand to shape policy directions for mobility and delivery.

You will develop strategies on priority issues, build trusted relationships with government and external stakeholders, and advocate for reforms that support Uber’s products, earners, and customers. The role requires strategic thinking, collaboration with Legal, Communications and Marketing, and the ability to influence in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in public policy, politics or government affairs.
• Ability to lead multiple policy initiatives with sound judgement, creativity and a strong focus on outcomes.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust across diverse internal and external groups.
• Values-aligned traits including curiosity, resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Help shape the policy environment that will define the future of mobility and delivery.
• Shape Uber’s policy positions on key legislative issues across mobility and delivery.
• Represent Uber with governments, regulators and industry groups; participate in government consultations and regulatory processes.
• Advise senior leaders on political and regulatory issues that could affect the business.
• Coordinate with Legal, Communications, Marketing and Operations to align policy work with business priorities and spot risks and opportunities.
