Life Insurance Direct Australia in Sydney CBD is seeking a Sales Care Specialist to guide applications through underwriting to policy issuance, coordinating with customers, insurers and third parties to resolve outstanding items.

You will bring General Advice experience to conversations, helping clients understand life insurance products and features within appropriate scope, enabling informed decisions and progress toward coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in Australian life insurance industry, ideally underwriting support.
• Customer service experience, call centre preferred.
• Strong customer-first mindset, needs analysis, problem solving and negotiation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to explain complex information.
• Self-motivated to hit performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Manage applications throughout underwriting, from submission to policy issuance.
• Proactively follow up outstanding items and identify delays or roadblocks.
• Bring General Advice experience to conversations to explain life insurance products.
• Take ownership of cases and coordinate with customers, insurers and third parties.
• Keep clients informed about underwriting progress and outcomes.
• Communicate underwriting outcomes, including exclusions and amended terms.
• Propose tailored solutions and amendments to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely underwriting outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with QA, Duty of Reasonable Care and industry regulations.
