Job summary

Allianz Technology is seeking a Chapter Lead, Software Engineering for Policy Administration Systems in Sydney. You will lead a team of engineers, drive agile delivery, and manage both internal and outsourced delivery partners to ensure critical PAS platforms perform reliably.

You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to prioritise work, drive continuous improvement, and shape delivery across onshore and offshore teams in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Senior software engineering leadership experience with line management responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead teams in an Agile delivery model.
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor governance skills.
• Experience with large-scale Policy Administration Systems in financial services or insurance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers (onshore and offshore).
• Oversee delivery and support of Policy Administration Systems with emphasis on stability and continuous improvement.
• Manage outsourced providers and technology vendors, establishing governance and performance metrics.
• Partner with business and technology to prioritise work and allocate resources for strategic objectives.
• Drive organisational change and promote agile ways of working across multiple locations and time zones.
