Job summary
TAL Services Limited in Melbourne is seeking an Engineering Manager - Policy Servicing to lead eight Engineering and Support Leads and oversee PAS, Life400, CLOAS and EthIL/ILSA platforms. The role focuses on availability, recoverability, risk, and BAU delivery while guiding DevOps and AI-enabled practices.
You will drive platform health, incident and disaster recovery, prioritise work, manage budgets and vendor performance, and coordinate governance forums to align with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading software engineering and technology operations teams
- Strong experience coaching and developing technology teams and workforce planning
- Experience in DevOps/DevSecOps transformation and AI-enabled development practices
- Familiarity with APRA CPS 230 requirements and regulatory environments
- Ability to manage platform health, incident response and disaster recovery
Responsibilities
- Lead eight Engineering and Support Leads to delivery across PAS, Life400, CLOAS and EthIL/ILSA
- Own health, availability and recoverability of enterprise platforms
- Oversee incident management, disaster recovery and lifecycle planning
- Direct prioritisation, resourcing and delivery of BAU engineering work
- Drive transition to DevOps, DevSecOps and AI-enabled development practices
- Manage workforce costs, vendor performance and governance forums
