Job summary

Mace in Australia is seeking a senior Programme Manager to lead strategic delivery, governance and resource management across major programmes.

You will guide executive relationships, manage budgets and risks, and mentor teams, with flexibility for part-time or hybrid work arrangements.

This role emphasizes compliance, continuous improvement and sustainable performance for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering major programmes across complex environments and project lifecycles.
• Advanced expertise in programme governance, controls, budgeting, risk management, and contract administration.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills with senior clients and industry partners.
• Relevant degree and professional membership (APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO governance, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-performing programme delivery aligned with strategic objectives.
• Provide strategic direction across key assignments, monitoring performance, risk, quality, cost, and sustainability outcomes.
