Job summary

Mace Group is seeking a senior PMO and Project Controls lead to drive delivery across major infrastructure hubs in Sydney. You will ensure alignment with best practices, ISO standards and Control Centre requirements while strengthening client relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes mentoring teams, embedding digital solutions, and advancing net-zero aligned delivery practices within a complex and highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering robust PMO and Project Controls frameworks on landmark construction projects.
• Strong risk, data, reporting and stakeholder management capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO and Project Controls delivery across assigned Hubs, ensuring high-quality service performance.
• Align all PMO and risk management activities with best practice, ISO standards and Control Centre requirements.
• Act as the PMO and Project Controls subject matter expert, guiding teams and influencing excellence.
• Provide expert support to projects and Hubs, strengthening client relationships and exceeding expectations.
• Mentor and role‑model effective behaviours, building capability across the function.
• Embed digital solutions and contribute to net-zero-aligned delivery practices.

You’ll be responsible for:

You’ll need to have:

Provide technical leadership, assurance and ownership of all Project Controls outputs with strong innovation and quality focus.

Lead PMO setup and integrated Project Controls teams across major programmes.

Bring extensive experience delivering robust PMO and Project Controls frameworks on landmark construction projects.

Demonstrate strong risk, data, reporting and stakeholder management capability with relevant professional qualifications.
