Job summary

Mace is seeking a PMO and project controls leader to drive schedules, governance and assurance across complex programmes. You will guide the Planning Centre of Excellence and collaborate with project teams to ensure delivery accuracy and transparency.

You will lead scheduling development and progress capture, reporting, and risk monitoring, empowering leadership with timely, data-driven insights for informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Requires extensive PMO and project controls leadership experience on major construction programmes.
• Expert in Primavera P6, Power BI, Aconex and RiskHive.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Relevant degree and chartered or equivalent accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the scheduling baseline, ensuring accuracy, consistency and programme transparency.
• Lead schedule development across programme and project lifecycles, supporting successful delivery outcomes.
• Implement robust processes for capturing progress, performance updates and schedule reporting.
• Monitor critical interfaces, dependencies and risks, enabling effective coordination across projects.
• Provide scheduling insight and support to programme leadership, driving informed decision-making and delivery performance.

The role

Leads the delivery of PMO and project controls services across complex programmes, providing leadership, governance and assurance. Supports successful project outcomes through effective controls, collaboration and continuous improvement, while guiding teams across the Planning Centre of Excellence and wider business.
