Job summary

Mace is seeking a senior leader to provide strategic direction for programme controls, integrating governance, performance management and specialist disciplines to deliver high-quality outcomes. You’ll drive continuous improvement and support successful programme delivery.

The role requires leading the development of a fit-for-purpose controls framework, supporting governance, and integrating cost, schedule, risk, change and reporting across multiple projects with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Chartered professional with a degree in construction, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Expertise in programme controls, PMO leadership, and integrated controls delivery.
• Strong commercial acumen with deep construction industry knowledge.
• Proven leadership on complex, large-scale programmes and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a fit-for-purpose programme controls framework.
• Support the Deputy Programme Director in driving effective programme governance and control.
• Integrate cost, schedule, risk, change, reporting, and document control functions.
• Establish and maintain the programme’s integrated baseline across all projects.
• Provide leadership and direction to multidisciplinary programme controls specialists.
• Oversee monthly performance reporting, ensuring timely insights and informed decision-making.
