Job summary

CSIRO's CBIS team seeks a Project Management Office Coordinator to strengthen governance, assurance and project controls across CSIRO's capital works portfolio. Reporting to the PMO Manager, you will provide expert guidance on governance, risk and assurance, coordinate reviews, and support planning and delivery of complex infrastructure programs.

You will work with project managers and executives to ensure strong governance, oversight and regulatory alignment, develop tools and templates, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and capital works governance experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in applying project controls (cost, schedule, risk) with governance/assurance frameworks.
• Experience using project management tools and delivering capital works programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and assurance frameworks for capital works programs.
• Monitor performance, risk, cost and schedule indicators for informed decision-making.
• Coordinate internal audits, health checks, assurance reviews and governance assessments.
• Manage external gateway reviews and independent assurance activities.
• Develop tools, templates and systems to support governance and delivery.
• Provide evidence-based reports and recommendations to senior leaders.
• Support program planning by identifying risks, dependencies and constraints.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery capability.
