Job summary

CSIRO, Australia's national science agency, is seeking a Project Management Office Coordinator to strengthen governance, risk management and assurance across its capital works portfolio. Reporting to the Manager, Project Management Office, you will coordinate assurance activities, provide expert governance advice and support planning and delivery of complex infrastructure projects and programs.

You will work closely with project managers, executives and corporate stakeholders to ensure projects

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, construction management, business, or related discipline.
Experience applying governance, risk and assurance frameworks to capital works projects.
Proven use of project management tools and delivery of capital works programs.
Strong written/verbal communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to lead and coordinate a small team.

Responsibilities

Lead governance and assurance frameworks, processes and reporting for capital works programs.
Monitor performance, risk, cost and schedule to identify issues and support decisions.
Coordinate internal audits, health checks, assurance reviews and gateway reviews.
Engage external specialists for assurance activities and reviews.
Develop tools, templates and systems that support planning and governance.
Provide evidence-based reports and recommendations to senior leaders.
