Job summary

FindStaff is actively sourcing a Qualified Plumber for an immediate start on a major Olympic Dam project in South Australia. You will perform Poly pipe installation and welding as part of a well-established site team, with emphasis on safety and productivity.

The role offers a 3:1 roster, ongoing project work, and potential extension beyond the calendar year. Prior mining/shutdown or FIFO experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Trade Qualified Plumber with 2+ years post-trade experience.
• Current Poly Pipe Welding Certification.
• Olympic Dam Site Induction current or underway.
• White Card and valid Australian Driver's Licence.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
• Strong commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Experience in mining/shutdown/maintenance/construction environments.
• Experience with HDPE and Poly pipe installation and welding.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Experience in remote or FIFO work environments.

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Plumber for an immediate start on a major project at Olympic Dam, South Australia.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to join a well-established project team working on one of South Australia's most significant mining operations. You will be responsible for plumbing and polyethylene (Poly) pipe installation and welding activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Working on a 3:1 roster, this role offers ongoing project work with the potential to continue through to the end of the calendar year and beyond.

Trade Qualified Plumber

Minimum 2 years post-trade experience

Current Poly Pipe Welding Certification

Olympic Dam Site Induction current or underway

Current Olympic Dam Medical / Health Assessment highly regarded

White Card

Current Driver's Licence

Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Highly Regarded

Previous mining, shutdown, maintenance or construction experience
