Job summary

IntoWork Australia seeks a qualified Plumber for an Olympic Dam project with Poly welding experience. Immediate start, mining environment, 3:1 roster, and remote site work. You will install and weld HDPE/poly pipes, read specs, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years post-trade experience, a current Poly welding certification, and the ability to pass inductions and medical assessments. FIFO opportunities may apply for suitable applicants.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Plumber with a current Poly pipe welding certification.
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience in plumbing, preferably in mining or remote sites.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Willingness to work on Olympic Dam project and pass medical/induction requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install and weld HDPE/Poly pipe to project specs and drawings.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity on site.
• Read plans and coordinate with the team to meet deadlines.
• Operate in a 3:1 roster and remote/fifo environment when required.

Qualified Plumber | Olympic Dam Project | Immediate Start

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Plumber for an immediate start on a major project at Olympic Dam, South Australia.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to join a well-established project team working on one of South Australia's most significant mining operations. You will be responsible for plumbing and polyethylene (Poly) pipe installation and welding activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Working on a 3:1 roster, this role offers ongoing project work with the potential to continue through to the end of the calendar year and beyond.

• Trade Qualified Plumber
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
• Current Poly Pipe Welding Certification
• Olympic Dam Site Induction current or underway
• Current Olympic Dam Medical / Health Assessment highly regarded
• White CardCurrent Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Highly Regarded
• Previous mining, shutdown, maintenance or construction experience
• Experience working in remote or FIFO environments
• Experience with HDPE and Poly pipe installation and welding
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
