Job summary

IntoWork Australia is seeking a qualified plumber with Poly welding experience for an immediate start on the Olympic Dam project in South Australia. You will install and weld HDPE/poly pipes, interpret plans, and uphold safety and quality standards on a major mining site.

The role operates on a 3:1 roster with ongoing project work and potential long-term opportunities for the right candidate. A current Poly Welding Certification and White Card are required.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified plumber with Poly welding certification.
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience.
• White Card and a current Driver's Licence.
• Poly pipe welding certification and HDPE experience preferred.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening and safety standards.
• Experience in mining, shutdown, maintenance or construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Olympic Dam site induction current or underway is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install and weld Poly/HDPE pipes on site.
• Read plans and interpret specifications to ensure correct installation.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity on a major mining project.
• Work within a 3:1 roster and coordinate with the project team.

Qualified Plumber | Olympic Dam Project | Immediate Start

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Plumber for an immediate start on a major project at Olympic Dam, South Australia.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to join a well-established project team working on one of South Australia's most significant mining operations. You will be responsible for plumbing and polyethylene (Poly) pipe installation and welding activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Working on a 3:1 roster, this role offers ongoing project work with the potential to continue through to the end of the calendar year and beyond.

• Trade Qualified Plumber
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
• Current Poly Pipe Welding Certification
• Olympic Dam Site Induction current or underway
• Current Olympic Dam Medical / Health Assessment highly regarded
• White CardCurrent Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Previous mining, shutdown, maintenance or construction experience
• Experience working in remote or FIFO environments
• Experience with HDPE and Poly pipe installation and welding
