Job summary

Findstaff is seeking a qualified plumber for an immediate start on the Olympic Dam Project in South Australia. You will perform plumbing and Poly pipe installation and welding, ensuring safety and quality on a major mining operation.

Roster is 3:1 with ongoing project work; experience in remote or FIFO environments is preferred, and site inductions/medical assessments are advantageous. Immediate start for a skilled tradesperson ready to join a professional team.

Qualifications

• Trade Qualified Plumber with certification.
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience.
• Current Poly Pipe Welding Certification.
• Olympic Dam Site Induction current or underway.
• White Card and current driver's licence.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Experience in mining/shutdown/maintenance or construction.
• Experience in remote or FIFO environments.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs.

Qualified Plumber | Olympic Dam Project | Immediate Start

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Plumber for an immediate start on a major project at Olympic Dam, South Australia.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to join a well-established project team working on one of South Australia's most significant mining operations. You will be responsible for plumbing and polyethylene (Poly) pipe installation and welding activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Working on a 3:1 roster, this role offers ongoing project work with the potential to continue through to the end of the calendar year and beyond.

• Trade Qualified Plumber
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
• Current Poly Pipe Welding Certification
• Olympic Dam Site Induction current or underway
• Current Olympic Dam Medical / Health Assessment highly regarded
• White CardCurrent Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
