Job summary

National Mobile Camps Operations (NMC) is seeking a qualified plumber to join our maintenance team based in Condamine. You will service, maintain and repair plumbing plant and equipment across NMC camp facilities, ensuring safety, compliance and reliable operations in remote sites.

This hands-on role involves fault-finding, testing, installation and commissioning, plus routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience maintaining similar plumbing plant and equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Experience in remote or camp-based environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair plumbing equipment across NMC camp facilities.
• Undertake testing, installation and commissioning of plumbing plant and equipment.
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to support equipment reliability and availability.
• Service and maintain sewerage, waste disposal and water systems.
• Complete maintenance reports, inspection records and service documentation.
• Provide Certificates of Compliance for plumbing work where required.
• Assist with camp mobilisations, demobilisations and operational projects.
• Maintain a high standard of safety, housekeeping and environmental compliance.

We provide mobile camp accommodation, camp management and support services across Australia. Supporting the resources, energy, construction and infrastructure sectors, we deliver scalable accommodation solutions tailored to remote operations.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our Maintenance team based in Condamine.

Reporting to the Senior Tradesperson, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair, testing, installation and commissioning of plumbing plant and equipment across NMC camp facilities.

This is a hands-on role that combines maintenance, fault-finding and project work across both yard and field operations, helping ensure NMC's facilities remain safe, compliant and operational.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair plumbing equipment across NMC camp facilities.

Undertake testing, installation and commissioning of plumbing plant and equipment.

Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Current QBCC Occupational License (Plumbing and Drainage).

Current C Class Driver License.

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.

Ability to obtain and maintain relevant site inductions and certifications.

Restricted Electrical License (or willing to obtain).

Back Flow Testing License (preferable).
