Job summary

National Mobile Camps (NMC) in Queensland seeks an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join the maintenance team based at Condamine. You will service, repair and install refrigeration systems across camp facilities, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operations.

The role requires minimum three years' experience, a full Refrigeration and Air Conditioning license, and the ability to work autonomously in remote, camp-based environments.

Qualifications

• Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic qualification.
• Full Refrigeration and Air Conditioning License.
• Current C Class Driver License.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
• Minimum three years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience servicing and maintaining refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.

Responsibilities

Established in 2009, National Mobile Camps (NMC) is an Australian-owned business based in Toowoomba, Queensland, with additional operations in Condamine. We provide mobile camp accommodation, camp management and support services across Australia. Supporting the resources, energy, construction and infrastructure sectors, we deliver scalable accommodation solutions tailored to remote operations.

About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our Maintenance team based in Condamine.

Reporting to the Senior Tradesperson, you will support with the maintenance and operation of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment across NMC's camp facilities and assets. You'll work across both yard and field operations, undertaking preventative maintenance, fault-finding, repairs and installation work to ensure equipment remains safe, compliant and operational.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance and fault-finding activities.

Experience working in remote, industrial or camp-based environments will be highly regarded.

Thermo King experience will be desirable
