Job summary

Talenza is searching for a Platform Lead in Brisbane to own the digital experience roadmap for a Queensland financial services organisation. The role requires leading enterprise platforms, delivering strategic roadmaps, and ensuring architecture, security and performance are aligned with business goals.

Hybrid work with 50% in-office presence in Brisbane CBD; candidates must have full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, backlog and end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise digital experience platforms.
• Align technology outcomes with business objectives and customer experience requirements.
• Provide technical leadership across digital platforms with focus on architecture, reliability, security, and performance (e.g., Sitecore).
• Lead multidisciplinary technical teams and coach/develop team members.
• Partner with stakeholders, architects, and vendors to define priorities and deliver platform outcomes.
• Translate technical risks and opportunities into clear business decisions.

Talenza have been engaged by an Queensland financial services organisation to find a Platform Lead to own and deliver the digital experience roadmap. The successful candidate will have proven experience leading technical development teams in a highly regulated environment.

This role requires 50% in office in the Brisbane CBD and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Key Requirements

• Own the strategy, roadmap, backlog and end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise digital experience platforms, covering demand management, delivery, operational support and continuous improvement.
• Ensure technology outcomes align with business objectives and customer experience requirements.
• Provide technical leadership across digital platforms, with strong understanding of platform architecture, reliability, security, performance, scalability and operational sustainability, including technologies such as Sitecore.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary technical teams, including platform specialists, software engineers, platform engineers and quality engineering practitioners, while building high-performing teams through coaching and development.
• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, technical leads and vendors to define priorities, manage dependencies and deliver platform outcomes.
• Translate complex technical concepts, risks and opportunities into clear business outcomes, enabling non-technical stakeholders to make informed decisions.
• Manage platform delivery priorities, operational performance, technical health, risk, governance and commercial considerations, including platform costs and vendor relationships.
• Operate effectively within Agile, DevOps and product-led environments, with experience leading enterprise-scale technology platforms in complex and regulated organisations.
