Job summary

Talenza has been engaged by an Australian ASX listed company to recruit a Solution Architect to deliver an insurance platform uplift. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in financial services transformation and will work across architecture and implementation teams.

This is a day-rate contract opportunity in the Brisbane CBD with a hybrid pattern (3 days per week in office) and full working rights in Australia. Only candidates based in Brisbane will be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solution Architect in financial services or insurance.
• Delivered a finance transformation project and uplifted finance platforms.
• Ability to design solutions that integrate finance capabilities with Oracle Fusion.
• Experience coordinating internal build and external/vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable designs.
• Produce high-level and low-level technical designs clearly defined through implementation.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architect to align with architecture principles and strategy.

Talenza have been engaged by an Australian ASX listed company to find a Solution Architect to work across an insurance platform uplift. The successful candidate will be an experienced Solution Architect that has delivered a financial services transformation project, ideally within a financial services organisation.

This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane CBD office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Solution Architect within the financial services or insurance sector, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
• Must have previously delivered a finance transformation project in an architecture role, with experience implementing or uplifting finance platforms and processes.
• Strong understanding of finance foundations and the ability to design solutions that integrate finance capabilities back into Oracle Fusion.
• Strong core Solution Architecture capabilities, including translating business and technical requirements into scalable, integrated solution designs.
• Demonstrated experience producing and reviewing both high-level and low-level technical designs, ensuring solutions are clearly defined through to implementation.
• Experience working across a combination of internal build teams and external/vendor development teams, providing architectural direction while development is delivered by multiple parties. Experience with Duck Creek or Prima XL is not required but is highly desirable.
• Ability to work closely with an Enterprise Architect, ensuring the solution aligns with broader enterprise architecture principles, standards and technology strategy.
