Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring for a backend engineer to own the APIs behind payments, subscriptions, auth, and the public TTS API across iOS, Android, Mac, Chrome, and web.

You will optimize services, automate repetitive tasks, and implement enterprise integrations while collaborating with product, mobile, and web teams to keep the backend architecture ahead of product growth.

Qualifications

• Proven backend experience in TS/Node.js.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS/Azure).
• Familiar with containerized deployments (Docker).
• Experience deploying on Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own the APIs behind payments, subscriptions, auth, consumption tracking, and the public TTS API.
• Improve and optimize services to be faster, cheaper, and more robust.
• Ensure changes are correct before shipping and maintain post-release checks.
• Automate repetitive parts of the role to enable higher throughput.
• Replicate work for team-wide reuse and scalability.
• Design B2B and enterprise integrations for customers.
