Placements24 is searching for a highly experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our fully remote team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs, and mentor junior developers while shaping architectural decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of backend experience with Python, Java, Go, or Node.js, plus strong relational database and ORM skills, RESTful APIs, and cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
• Extensive experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable.
