Job summary

MJ’s Plastering is seeking an experienced plasterer to join our Central Coast team on a casual or subcontract basis. You will focus on plasterboard sheeting across new builds, renovations and commercial projects.

Key requirements include proven plastering experience, a current White Card, your own ABN or business, reliable transport, and a strong work ethic. You’ll operate independently while contributing to a supportive crew.

Responsibilities

• Measuring and setting out plasterboard.

• Installing plasterboard to architectural areas.
• Working with different plasterboard products and specifications.
• General preparation and plastering duties; maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

MJ’s Plastering is looking for an experienced plasterer to join our team on a casual or subcontract basis.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Takes pride in quality workmanship and clean finishes
• Knows how to sheet efficiently and get the job done properly
• Is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in their work
• Can work independently while fitting in well with a team
• Is looking for consistent work with a well-established Central Coast plastering business
• Has their own ABN/company, or is looking for casual work

PAY & WORK

$60-$75/hr, negotiable, depending on experience and arrangement

THE ROLE

You’ll work alongside our experienced team across a range of new builds, renovations and commercial projects throughout the Central Coast.

The role will primarily involve plasterboard sheeting, including:

• Measuring and setting out plasterboard
• Determining efficient plasterboard layoutsCutting, lifting and fixing plasterboard
• Sheeting walls and ceilings
• Installing plasterboard to detailed architectural areas
• Working with different plasterboard products and specifications
• General preparation and plastering duties where required
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area

Strong sheeting experience is essential.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You must have:

• Proven experience as a plasterer
• Current White Card
• ABN and/or your own registered business/company, or be available for casual employment
• Your own reliable transport to and from job sites
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail
• The ability to work efficiently and to a high standard
• A reliable, professional and positive attitude
• The ability to work as part of a team
