Job summary

Perfect Contracting Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an experienced Plasterer to join our civil, transport, construction, and infrastructure projects. You will perform plastering work, install plasterboard, and ensure quality on site.

The role requires at least two years of full-time plastering experience, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Overtime and occasional regional NSW travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years full-time experience as a plasterer (solid or fibrous).
• Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and willingness to perform manual tasks.
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude.
• Flexibility to work overtime or Saturdays when required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for regional NSW projects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of plastering work with precision and attention to detail.
• Measure, cut, prepare, and install various types of plasterboard.
• Fix pre-cast cornices, panels, ceilings, and other fibrous plaster components.
• Apply coats of plaster, render, and finishing compounds using trowels and related tools.
• Mix and prepare plastering materials according to project specifications.
• Interpret and work from construction plans and drawings.
• Perform solid and fibrous plastering tasks as required.
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with WHS requirements.
• Assist in supervising apprentices or junior team members when needed.
• Work hands-on and support the team to meet project deadlines.
