Homestead Concreting & Property Maintenance in Wollongong NSW is seeking a full-time versatile plasterer to perform maintenance, patch repairs, and remediation on residential and commercial properties. You will restore damaged surfaces to a repaint-ready finish and handle interior and exterior preparation.

The ideal candidate has a Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining or Solid Plastering, proven plaster maintenance experience, and proficient hand-tool skills.

Qualifications

• Trade Qualification in Plastering (Certificate III preferred).
• Proven experience in plaster maintenance, patch-ups and repair work.
• Mastery of hand tools and mixing compounds.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plaster repairs including small patches and large-scale remediation.
• Install, repair, and replace standard and decorative cornices.
• Perform plasterboard installation, sheeting, flushing, setting, and sanding.
• Prepare surfaces to ensure high-quality, paint-ready finishes.
• Match textures and smooth out uneven surfaces.
• Maintain a clean and safe work site and keep company ute tidy.

Homestead Concreting & Property Maintenance – Wollongong NSW

We are looking for a full time versatile "all-rounder" plasterer who excels in repair and restoration work. This position focuses on maintenance, patch repairs, and remediation rather than just large-scale sheeting. You will be visiting residential and commercial properties to bring damaged surfaces back to a seamless, repaint-ready finish.

Key responsibilities

Carry out all types of plaster repairs including small patches (dents, nail holes, cracks) and large-scale remediation (water damage, sagging ceilings)

Install, repair, and replace standard and decorative cornices

Perform plasterboard/Gyprock installation, sheeting, flushing, setting, and sanding

Prepare internal (and occasionally external) surfaces to ensure high-quality, paint-ready finishes

Correctly match existing textures and smooth out uneven surfaces

Maintain a clean and safe work site, ensuring minimal disruption to clients

Keep company ute clean and tidy

About you

Trade Qualification in Plastering (Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining or Solid Plastering preferred)

Proven experience specifically in plaster maintenance, patch-ups, and repair work

Mastery of hand tools (hawks, trowels, floats) and mixing compounds

Valid Driver's License and reliable transport (utility vehicle/van preferred)

Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Strong attention to detail with a neat and tidy work ethic

Excellent communication and customer service skills
