Job summary

Sydney Trains is seeking a permanent, full‑time role at the Auburn Heavy Maintenance Centre (AHMC) in Auburn, NSW. You will develop maintenance plans that balance customer demand, operational priorities and available resources, and use data, dashboards and insights to support informed decisions.

You will work across Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain to keep delivery on track while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at Auburn Heavy Maintenance Centre (AHMC). Please note that this is an on-site role, with attendance at AHMC required.

About You

You've got experience in process management, planning or an operational environment, with strong analytical, reporting and problem‑solving skills.

You're confident using SAP and data insights to track performance and support sound decision‑making, with an understanding of Lean Principles and the ability to adapt in a fast paced environment.

You're a collaborative communicator who builds strong stakeholder relationships, manages competing priorities and keeps safety, quality and customer outcomes front of mind.

You've got relevant qualifications in logistics management or engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
