Downer Group is partnering with Homes Victoria to deliver planned maintenance across social housing and community assets in Victoria. The role leads planning, coordination and performance oversight of maintenance activities to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable outcomes for Homes Victoria and communities served.

You will work with schedulers, operations teams, and the client to align priorities, monitor delivery and support continuous improvement across maintenance programs.

• Ensure compliance requirements are met and documentation maintained for audits.
• Monitor delivery, identify risks to service levels, and support mitigation processes.
• Interface with the client on planned maintenance matters with timely, accurate responses.

Tertiary qualification in Facilities Management, Asset & Maintenance Management, Engineering, Building Services or related discipline

We have an opportunity for a Planned Maintenance Manager to join our Homes Victoria team. In this role, you will lead the planning, coordination, delivery and performance oversight of planned maintenance activities. Your work will contribute directly to safe, compliant and reliable planned maintenance outcomes for Homes Victoria and the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Schedule planned, responsive and urgent maintenance works in accordance with contractual priorities, service levels and operational capacity.
• Work with schedulers and operations teams to ensure planned maintenance works are effectively scheduled and coordinated with operational capacity and priorities.
• Ensure planned maintenance activities meet statutory, regulatory and contractual compliance requirements, including documentation and audit readiness.
• Support contract performance by monitoring planned maintenance delivery, identifying risks to service levels, and contributing data and evidence to abatement mitigation and rebuttal processes.
• Act as a key operational interface with the client for planned maintenance matters, ensuring responses are timely, accurate and aligned with contractual requirements.

What You'll Bring

• Tertiary qualification in Facilities Management, Asset & Maintenance Management, Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience managing planned maintenance programs within facilities management, asset maintenance or property services environments.
• Working knowledge of work order management systems to manage, analyse and report planned maintenance data.
• Strong understanding of planned maintenance principles, asset lifecycle management and compliance obligations.
• Ability to analyse maintenance performance data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
