Job summary

Silverstrand Developments is seeking an Experienced Pipelayer to join our Elimba-based team and contribute to major civil projects across Queensland. You will read plans, lay PE pipe, and lead small crews while ensuring safe operations and compliance with site environmental requirements.

The role requires 5+ years of pipelaying experience, DN180/315 knowledge, and relevant tickets (Dogman/Confined Space). A pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test are part of the process; Poly welding

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in pipelaying on construction sites.
• Experience with DN180 and 315 mm pipes.
• Certificate 3 - Pipelaying.
• Poly welding tickets advantageous.
• Dogman and Confined Space tickets.
• Experience on subdivisions, road upgrades and pipeline projects.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test.

• Location - Elimba.
• PE Pipe - Twin Main - DN180 & 315.
• Pump Station Project.

About the role:

This role is responsible for (but not limited to):

• Laying PE Pipe
• Poly Welding
• Running small crews
• Setting up pipe lasers
• Ability to work directly from plans
• Safely dogging suspended loads accurately
• Rigging and securing loads for excavator placements
• Working safely around high risk machinery
• General labouring and trade assistant work as required
• Ability to read and understand plans
• Ensuring compliance with site safety & environmental requirements

The successful candidate must have the following experience:

• Minimum 5+ years' construction experience in pipelaying
• Ability to lay a variety of pipes ranging from Stormwater, Sewer and conduits when required
• Experience with DN180 & 315.
• Certificate 3 - Pipelaying
• Poly Welding Tickets - Advantageous
• Experience on Subdivisions, Road upgrades and pipeline projects
• Experience with the technical aspects of pipe laying
• Dogman and Confined Space tickets required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
