Job summary

Fence Fab Warehouse is seeking a capable warehouse assistant in Adelaide to ensure materials are ready for our installation crews. You will pick and pack fencing components, verify counts and specs, and help load and deliver materials to sites and customers, keeping stock organized and safe.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack fabricated fencing materials against job sheets.
• Check quantities, colours and specs before shipment.
• Load trucks, trailers and utes safely for installs and pickups.
• Drive ute and trailer to sites or to suppliers as required.
• Receive and unload deliveries, including returns from the powdercoater.
• Keep stock locations organized and assist with stock counts; maintain a tidy warehouse.

Salisbury Plains, Adelaide SA | Casual with a pathway to permanent full-time

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

• - $30.00 – $33.00 per hour + super, based on your experience and licences held
• - 6:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Consistent day-shift hours, no weekends, overtime paid at award rates

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be the link between our workshop and our install crews. Every job that leaves our yard is picked, checked and packed by you – posts, sheets, rails, panels, gates and fittings – so our installers arrive on site with the right materials, first time.

The role covers:

• - Picking and packing fabricated fencing materials against job sheets and orders
• - Checking quantities, colours and specifications before anything leaves the warehouse
• - Loading trucks, trailers and utes safely and securely for install crews and customer pick-ups
• - Driving the ute and trailer to deliver materials to site and collect from suppliers as required- Receiving and unloading supplier deliveries, including returns from the powdercoater
• - Keeping stock locations organised and assisting with stock counts
• - Maintaining a clean, safe and well‑organised warehouse and yard

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• - Current driver’s licence and confident driving with a trailer, including reversing and securing loads
• - Previous experience in a warehouse, picking/packing, dispatch or building supplies environment
• - Forklift licence (LF)
• - Strong attention to detail – accuracy matters more than speed
• - Physically fit and comfortable handling long, heavy and awkward materials
• - Strong safety awareness and a commitment to a clean, organised workspace
• - Reliable, punctual and a genuine team player
