Job summary

AH Fencing (VIC) Pty Ltd is expanding its Melbourne team and seeks fencers and experienced construction labourers to join our on-site crews across commercial and industrial projects.

You will work in small crews on active sites, installing security fencing, gates and related systems while following plans and safety guidelines. The role offers consistent full-time hours and pathways to upskill within the company.

Qualifications

• Recent construction, fencing or trade experience.
• Construction White Card is required.
• Current driver licence and reliable transport.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to work well as part of a small crew.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial and industrial fencing systems and gates.
• Set out and measure fence lines.
• Work with a small crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Load, unload and move materials and equipment.
• Follow plans, site requirements and supervisor directions.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

The Role

Due to continued project growth, we're looking for Fencers and experienced Construction Labourers to join our Melbourne team.

You’ll work within a crew of 2–3 team members across commercial and industrial projects throughout greater Melbourne, installing security fencing, gates and associated systems.

This is a hands-on role working across active construction sites, with consistent full-time hours and ongoing work available.

We're looking for people who are reliable, take pride in their work and want the opportunity to develop their skills and progress within the business.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing commercial and industrial fencing systems and gates
• Setting out and measuring fence lines
• Working within a small crew to complete projects safely and efficiently
• Operating hand and power tools
• Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment
• Following plans, site requirements and direction from supervisors
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in applicants with recent, relevant experience in fencing, construction, carpentry or another hands-on trade.

Fencing experience is highly regarded; however, if you have solid construction experience, are comfortable working on active sites and are willing to learn, we'd still like to hear from you.

Experience installing chainwire, palisade, Colorbond, timber fencing, gates or other security fencing systems will be highly regarded.
