Job summary

AH Fencing (NSW) Pty Ltd in NSW is seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder to support our growing workshop for commercial and industrial fencing projects.

You will fabricate gates, frames and components, perform MIG welding, read drawings and maintain safety and quality in a fast-paced team environment.

This full-time role offers varied work across multiple sites and a clear path for progression within a fast-growing, multi-state business.

Qualifications

• Recent and relevant fabrication and welding experience.
• Strong MIG welding skills.
• Experience working with steel and fabrication from drawings.
• Ability to read drawings and work accurately from measurements.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Reliable with solid work ethic; able to work independently or in a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a growing NSW operation.

About the Role

As our NSW operations continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join the team.

This isn’t a role for someone looking to cruise through the day. We want someone who knows their trade, takes ownership of their work and cares about what leaves the workshop.

You’ll be working across fabrication requirements for our commercial and industrial fencing projects, including gates, frames, fencing components and custom steelwork.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Fabricating gates, frames and fencing components
• MIG welding and general steel fabrication
• Cutting, grinding, drilling and preparing materials
• Reading and working from drawings and measurements
• Completing custom fabrication, modifications and repairs
• Working closely with our project and site teams
• Ensuring finished products meet project requirements
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and presentation
• Keeping your work area organised and operating safely

• Recent and relevant fabrication and welding experience
• Strong MIG welding skills

Relevant trade qualifications, tickets and licences will be highly regarded.
